The Archives of The Royal Institute of Painters in Water Colours

The archive of the Royal Institute of Painters in Water Colours is an extensive one. It is managed by the RI Archivist, Ian Bliss. who is currently in the process of sifting through the thousands of documents it comprises. Ian took over the job in early 2009, a mammoth task. If you have any enquiries relating to the archive please contact:

The Website Archive

There are plans to build an internet based archive of articles and information of general interest to members and visitors. A long term future plan of the RI is to make some of the official archive material available on the web (see above) but this will take time and funding and as yet there is no date forecast for this.

In the meantime please feel free to view any of the articles from 2009 listed opposite.
